January 6th A Day That Will Live in Infamy

Editorial Staff - January 6, 2022

Today marks one year since a riotous mob stormed the US Capitol building, sparking headlines across the US and throughout the world.

Five people died as a result of the insurrection. Four of them were actually Trump supporters, The reason that this event was so horrific is that it was fueled by rage and disgust about the system and the Washington elitiscm. Many in Washington (these same people who for four years had attempted to villianize President Trump) will gather today in celebration of this horrific event. Democrats are blaming the former president for the carnage that unfolded in 6 January 2021, claiming that he and his supporters conspired to organise an insurrection attempt to keep Trump in power. He denies those claims.

Mr Trump canceled a press conference scheduled for today at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the attack after his Republican allies openly chafed at the idea of relitigating false election claims.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will today throughout the day lead a day of memorial events planned throughout Washington DC, including lawmakers sharing their experience of the assault and a candlelight vigil at the National Mall. Gee, I wonder if they are going to have AOC speak of how she feared for her life even though she wasn't in the Capital Building that afternoon.

As I stated earlier on there were 5 deaths contributed to the riot one Capital Policeman Brian Sicknick who it was originally claimed was struck in the head with a fire extinguisher by rioters, this was later disproven by the medical experts who have said "he did not die of blunt force trauma. But Officer Sicknick did die none the less in an act of ruthless aggression by demonstrators.

It is widely believed by some that the actual insurrection was planned not by Trump but by the ruthless Washington Elite in order to make sure that their agenda of certifying President Elect Joe Biden went through as planned.

Now onto the four Trump supporters that succombed that day.

The most controversial one of course being Ashley Babbit 35, an Air Force veteran from Southern California, was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer as she clambered through a broken window leading to the Speaker’s Lobby inside the Capitol. With her last moments, captured from multiple angles on video, show Ms. Babbitt, a Trump flag knotted around her neck, being hoisted to the window as others in the mob shout. Moments later, a shot rings out and Ms. Babbitt falls back, blood pouring from her mouth. Shot in Cold Blood by a Capital Police Officer. The U.S. attorney in Washington also announced it was conducting an excessive-force investigation following her death, which officials called a “routine, standard procedure whenever an officer deploys lethal force.”

The other three died not from any senseless acts but from what some consider natural causes or simply the excitement of the day that point I will leave for you to decide.

Rosanne Boyland, 34, of Kennesaw, Ga., Boyland appears to have been killed in a crush of fellow rioters during their attempt to fight through a police line, according to videos reviewed by The Times.

Kevin D. Greeson, 55, of Athens, Ala., was standing in a throng of fellow Trump loyalists on the west side of the Capitol when he suffered a heart attack and fell to the sidewalk. He was talking on the phone with his wife at the time.

Benjamin Philips, 50 died of a stroke in Washington, those who accompanied him to the Capitol told the newspaper. The exact circumstances of his death were still unclear.

Now each and every one of these deaths was unnecessary and could have been avoided. But someone has their blood on their hands and that truth I am afraid will remain a mystery but you can rest assured that you know where the Washington Elite will be pointing their fingers at.
